_______________________________________________ Thank you to all who comment, fav or crit my work, please understand if i dont thank you i still appreciate it.
sometimes i use the hdr method with either photomatix or seperate layers in photoshop , custom curves and levels, sharpening and nice blue or orange lol
damn nice colour tone and angle, and the shapes of the horizon and contrast to the buildings makes it an instantly appealing thumb. for someone who hates noise, look at the sky and the building to the left, which incidentally could use some levels work, it's quite dark. your shadows clipping can suck my anus under what I can only assume are trees by the water, isn't this hdr whats up with this blatant underexposure. in the water and the buildings on the right it seems like detail is not as sharp as it could be, but again i know what its like downsizing to 12% on a photo with so much fine lines and tiny details.
the first thing i mentioned made it an instant fav, but the other things made me think wtf where is the rome standard of superb hdr and obsessive compulsive exposure/levels work?
you know what i do is I often tone map once at highest light smoothing point, which works nicely for the clouds, then I undo it and go down to medium, which brightens up the building and combine the two with mask and brush in photoshop. i did that for parliament.
its also just my opinion, but that boat there... is tremendously gay. it takes a shot that has no one in it - no movement, no humans, just stillness and archetectural beauty, and... theres an asshole in a speedboat shattering the whole fucking speechless amazement to bits. bravo.
I love the colour craig. i love the angle. I love the lines and the contrast in certain parts. I love how it seems nightime but its most certainly not. I enjoy the highlights in the water.

Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
